it may not be the driver it might be something conflicting with it causing the NV4 disp to fault its often the case , however the best course of action is a reinstall , but for now stay away from the 19 set of NV drivers

get these NVIDIA DRIVERS 186.18 WHQL

download and install this Guru3D - Driver Sweeper and read the instructions carefully

uninstall your drivers in control panel , reboot into safemode then run and use driver sweeper (in safemode) then reboot and install your newly downloaded drivers reboot again and test

let us know how you get on

it wont be your monitor mate , but now we have eliminated it being a driver issue which is a first step :) could you post up your dump file here , you will need to win zip it then use the attach function at the top (paperclip pic) to upload it and attach it to your post

no mate wow is for girls im an FPS man meself ;) ;) all that fairy chasing and ogre bashing would melt my brain ;)

Now i know exactly whats happening it sounds like it could be hardware issue , but we need to check more things first

ill look at your minidump later when i have time what is power supply? It MAY be failing under load as may your GPU

EDIT that dump points to a critical system file not a driver , csrss.exe , you can google to se what it does

Code:
CRITICAL_OBJECT_TERMINATION (f4)
A process or thread crucial to system operation has unexpectedly exited or been
terminated.
Several processes and threads are necessary for the operation of the
system; when they are terminated (for any reason), the system can no
longer function.

so now it may be a good idea to go through your mobo , chipset , soundchip drivers and update everything and make sure your operating system is up to date

its a pain i know but you wanna eliminate everything else before buying a new card

csrss.exe is the main executable for the [COLOR=#05408f !important][COLOR=#05408f !important]Microsoft[/COLOR][/COLOR] Client/Server Runtime Server Subsystem. This process manages most graphical commands in Windows. This program is important for the stable and secure running of your computer and should not be terminated.

However, csrss.exe is also a process which is registered as the W32.Netsky.AB@mm [COLOR=#05408f !important][COLOR=#05408f !important]worm[/COLOR][/COLOR], the W32.Webus Trojan, Win32.Ladex.a, and more.

Some say its a virus, some say its a OS file..or something..
i dont really think its a virus as i only get BSOD during gaming and with hmm...many graphic effect??it just wont happen when im doing nothing..

And also...how do i update my OS to up to date?like doing windows update?my computer is XP SP3 tho..
and i updated CPU,GPU,Sound card drivers and more...and still..
And how do i know my power supply?
Its 450W i guess..well idk tell me how do i check =/

And most of them were caused by crss.exe??not nv4_disp?
cause when i use whocrashed it says its nv4_disp and another named ntoskrnl.exe
..i googled both of them but there doesnt seems to be any solution:huh:

Anyway,im sorry bout my english as im chinese, mine aint very good..i hope u understand and thank you very much for helping me.

Hey dude,
Try changing all your 3D nvidia settings to lowest or default,:D
(if u have them on high or medium)
BSOD came on my earlier Card due to 2 things,
1- because i set the settings high,
2- because i overclocked it

Just go to your Nvidia control panel and at the left you see 3D settings, open it you will find manage 3D settings, open that and restore your settings to default.
OR
you can choose standard settings from top of the CP.
Have you experienced any BSOD after changing the 3D filter?

If you know about computer hardware, try removing the graphics card and putting it back again, Check the temperatures too, i forgot to tell it to u earlier,
And if you don't mind this , try reinstalling the OS, but that's one of the last option.

Ok bro,i know about hardware and will try that, but im not so sure where video card is located but ill check it out later on.and GPU temp is always 40C
Also..i was using vista and i reinstalled to XP.
But many of my BSOD shows that its the OS file,so now im trying window xp dark edition, this is my last step,if it still doesnt work,im going to take it to computer shop
