hi, my graphics card which came built into my laptop is giving me trouble. it is an intel 4 express series family chipset model, but according to the website 'can you run it' is unable to play certain games even though the figures are higher than the ones needed. can anyone help me make sense of this?

the site says:
required you have
Video RAM 128 MB 829.0 MB
3D Yes Yes
Hardware T&L Yes Yes
Pixel Shader version2.0 4.0
Vertex Shader version 2.0 4.0

Hello daquinnsta,
Laptops have never been good at running games.

This is likely to be the problem.

Pixel Shader version2.0 4.0
Vertex Shader version 2.0 4.0

It may well run older games, but not new ones.
Hope this helps, good luck.

You should be OK with older games, Demos are a good idea too.
