Dedicated system memory for graphics card as zero?

[RESOLVED] Dedicated system memory for graphics card as zero?

I have found that any Vista or W7 machine that has a "0" value indicated in the Dedicated System Memory fails to run my apps. So there is no easy way to change this value? i dont expect a user to change a bios setting.

Dedicated system memory is what the CARD gives to the PC. So if you have an app taking most of your ram, the card will give it its own DEDICATED system memory. But your pc has dedicated GRAPHICS that is for aero and gaming. So if you have 1GB= 1024 MB and 64MB DEDICATED SYSTEM MEMORY, your COMPUTER can use 1088MB TOTAL for APPS.

hope this helps.

thx, i sorted it out

My app has a undo/redo function and the app was writing a image to the memory every time the mouse-up event was triggered so when the undo/redo was executed we had the last image in the memory to show.

I edited the code to only save the changes and not the whole image.
