dual monitor set up?

    dual monitor set up?

    donno if this is the right place but anyways.
    i have a radeon 6800 series im not sure which one atm i think 6860
    but im trying to set up two monitors and no matter what i do it cannot work
    any help? i've tried using the bottom dvi port and it seems not to recognize that the monitor is plugged in. maybe its because both my cords are vgas with dvi converters? any help ive been stuck on this for 2 days now

    No youre correct, you should just plug them in, then go into control panel and you'll see both monitors avaliable.
    The you just tick the "extend my monitor".

    That should do it.

    Does the monitor button lights change color when you plug it in?

    Do you have the correct drivers for the gpu?
