    Before you swap the card out, install the driver for the 8800GT from dells website here
    http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/...ductCode=False
    Hopefully an update is all you need

    So ive uninstalled drivers, run driver sweeper and installed Dell's drivers. Dxdiag showed my card working, but within 10 seconds of starting a game the computer froze. Restarted the comp to see dxdiag doesn't recognize again. Restarted again and it worked then froze. Back to square one.

    The only thing i can think of looking into before trying another card is the error 43 issue. Any thoughts on that?
