Hi Calmat,

Try to uninstall and reinstall the Video drivers from vendor’s website and check. Please refer following link to get into safe mode with networking: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/171469-uninstall-device-device-driver.html

Generally, Video cards in the laptop cannot be changed as it would be a part of the Motherboard.

For any clarifications feel free to contact me.

Normally I would say video card or monitor however if it works in safe mode then I agree about drivers even though it sounds strange. In safe mode a completely different set of drivers are used. There are generic drivers that are built into windows designed for pretty much any graphics card but normally for best performance one installs a driver from the manufacturer specific to their model. Safe mode uses the generic driver. Does that make sense? I suggest that you use this program to make sure that the driver is gone. Guru3D - Driver Sweeper
