Hi every one

I am running Vista 64x, and I recently did fresh reinstall since then I can not go higher then 32bit its just not there to select on my Display settings or Geforce. I am using a Geforce 9800 gtx and have done all the updates drivers ect. I the system is saying every thing is working but still the highest I can select is at 32 bit. I am really stumped and could use a hand.

Thanks.

The maximum possible graphics display capability it 32-bit - there is no better in Windows. This equates to a possible 16 million colours - if you can see more, you have problems that are not of this world :)

ok then I, why is every thing looking like crap nothing is crisp. I images are hazy the only reason I thought it might be the bit ratio is because of Netflix saying my video card is not because it is not 64 or higher.

Please post an MSINFO32 log- it may show what the problem is, and will certainly give us more detail than we have now.

Click on the Start button
in the Search box, type MSINFO32 and hit the Enter key.

Click on File in the menu bar, then Save
save it as hmiinfo.NFO and wait for the process to complete - then attach the file to your reply.

32 bits is the highest you can go with the BPP (Bits Per Pixel), which I assume is what you are talking about. As regards picture sharpness, or focus, are you using the screen's native resolution?

Please take a screenshot of the error. Did you install the 64-bit drivers? What is your resolution set for?

HMI, what is the make and model of your monitor? As has been said, you are probably not using the native resolution, this can make the image hazy.
