for anyone who's interested here's the XTREME-G 9.6 ATI drivers.....

these add a few extra options in CCC and deliver a tad better performance.

Warning

These are 3rd party modified drivers and are not official drivers from ATI.

link? i just checked game.amd.com and they are not there, there is message from catalystmaker that they will be posted tomorrow

Catalyst 9.7 for Vista and Win 7 are out now somewhere on game.amd.com ;-) Full updates coming tomorrow for XP and driver selector pages

Just pick your OS - x64 or x86 - card and number, it will have 9.7 there, but say 9.6 at the top. It's 9.7 though, they just haven't updated the title part yet.

You could always try

As for the drivers themselves: They were a painless in-place installation for a change
