CCC gives MOM.Implementation and CLI.Implementation errors (it is about .NET I think).

ATI Tray Tools wants to install a driver when installing application, but you know about Vista x64's driver policy.. Of course it fails miserably, and it doesn't work either.

Vista x64 comes with .NET v3 but this doesn't help it seems.

BTW, there is no problem with ATI's 7.6 driver.. It works well. Only CCC creates problems.
are there any tweaking programs that work under 64 bit vista? i usualy instal CCC but want to try without it?

Hi FATBOY,

See if installing the ATI drivers without the CCC and just the driver will work for you.

FATBOY,

If the older driver version is working for you, then I would just stick with that one until the next driver version comes out to see how it does instead of the 8.3.

Yeah I know... I've used ATI cards for about 10 years and ATI is notorious for having buggy drivers. The best one so far was 7.5 as far as beaing overclockable and stable.

FATBOY,

LOL, you can say that again. Before I moved on to Nvidia, the ones after the 7.1 actually lowered by WEI score by .1 .

I'm using the BFG GeForce 9600 GT OC 512 MB card. It's a great mid range card, and it supports SLI.
