| Vista ultimate 64 bit SP2 | Re: New ATI Catalyst Driver release Well, but there is no option like setting default anti-aliasing, anisotropic filtering etc. in vista as I know... I don't use CCC for resolution or gamma changes. It is for this options I want to use CCC, or ATI tray tools but both of them gave errors. CCC gives MOM.Implementation and CLI.Implementation errors (it is about .NET I think). ATI Tray Tools wants to install a driver when installing application, but you know about Vista x64's driver policy.. Of course it fails miserably, and it doesn't work either. Vista x64 comes with .NET v3 but this doesn't help it seems. BTW, there is no problem with ATI's 7.6 driver.. It works well. Only CCC creates problems. |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | re: Latest ATI Catalyst Video Drivers FATBOY, If the older driver version is working for you, then I would just stick with that one until the next driver version comes out to see how it does instead of the 8.3. Shawn |

| Win7 Ultimate 64bit | re: Latest ATI Catalyst Video Drivers Yeah I know... I've used ATI cards for about 10 years and ATI is notorious for having buggy drivers. The best one so far was 7.5 as far as beaing overclockable and stable. Last edited by 03hdfatboy; 03-17-2008 at 01:05 PM.. Reason: driver 7.9 was wrong :) |
