Vista - Latest ATI Catalyst Video Drivers

I really hope that the final 8.12 fixes Crossfire and x64 BSODS issues. It's pretty much the only thing holding me back from grabbing another card

tnx for info, but help help installed the new Ati 8.12 Final Release,the problem stardet, after install had to restard my pc ,was not able enymore to do somthing on my desktop ,video screen went black and back to desktop every second ,was not able to klick anny command with the mouse ,had to restart pc ,with a system restore was everything back to normal and back to ati vers 8.10
Do you have anny help or info on that Brink ?
all help is welcome on wat is rong with version 8.12 ? or meaby my pc ?

Hello Bompa Dave,

In your case, if the 8.10 version works fine for you, then I would stick with them for now until the ATI comes out with the 8.13 version to try. Not sure why 8.12 would not work for you.

Do this version 8.12 support crossfire ? the control catalyst center stoot open ,could not find the crossfire on the botom of that page ?were it was before ,im not so good in installing new drivers and surtenly not in vista 64 , always a problem with cleaning up the old drivers ,is tere a link to find out how to install the new drivers ,

Since 8.10 hotfix onwards, a lot of people have had trouble installing catalyst drivers with xfire in x64.

Check out the amd forums for help:

There are lots of threads about it

Although it is doable with a bit of work I believe.
