Latest ATI Catalyst Video Drivers

New ATI driver works for me and running 2 Monitors with it didn't have to re set any useing currtent setting I set up my own Default profile
Only thing was took a long time to set up down load took 45 secs lol

First do a back up of you're whole system before you update with this driver . then down load the version to you're ATI Video CArd it should worrk just took a long time to Install.

i m a litle bit afraid for installing the new drivers (8.6) becose ,had so mught problems with ,pci to pci bridge and so on. do you have a solution or experiens on that ???

Anyone else have problems installing this on Vista x64 SP1? I have an ATI Redeon Xpress 200M. When trying to install CCC, all that installs is CIM. When I try to install again, it tells me CCC is already installed, but the installation folder is empty. When I try to uninstall it tells me that there's no software installed other than CIM. Versions 7.X and 8.X exhibit the same problem. I am of course "Run[ning] as administrator", Safe Modes don't work, nor do Vista x86 or XP x64 install packages.

Any help or info is appreciated.

Conversly, if anyone knows how to tell Vista to use proper S-Video for an external monitor, I wouldn't need CCC at all.

NEW CATALYST 8.8 BETAs LEAKED !!!!!

Reading through an article testing the 8.8 betas.

The attached screen shows a vantage test with a pair of HD4850's in Crossfire.
Increase in speed by 11% with beta drivers.

Idle wattage has a large drop as well (load drop is miniscule).

should be interesting to see how these drivers pan out in actual game usage.

Thnks for the tip. Unfortunatly, it still doesn't install anything to the ATI Technologies folder. Hydravision installs in the Program Files (x86) folder though. A step in the right direction I suppose.
