Per-hop message filters

Hello,

In the "Developing P2P Applications Using Windows Vista And
The Windows Communication Foundation ("Indigo") PeerChannel"
presentation is table "Comparing Mesh Options" where "Service Model"
section includes following point: "Message flooding with per-hop message
filters".
Is per-hop message filter something that can be implemented in the
application and
used for limitation of message broadcasting scope or it is part of Peer
Channel
internal functionality?

I am looking for capability to broadcast message to peer neighbors only, not
to all
mesh nodes. Can such functionality be implemented using per-hop message
filters or
some other technique?

Thanks,

Andriy.

RE: Per-hop message filters

Hi Andriy:

Our most recent post on the peer channel team blog should help answer your
questions -
http://blogs.msdn.com/peerchan/archi...tribution.aspx

This is something that can be implemented in the application and that Peer
channel supports.

Hope that helps..do visit our blog and feel free to contact us if you have
more questions..
