| | How do I: Setup IIS 7 in Vista for WCF I have a mish-mash of various setup steps for IIS 7 to host a WCF service. These generally include the installation of IIS 7 from the control panel. Installing Windows SDK for Vista and running ServiceModelReg.exe. I have IIS 7 hosting other web services and regular web aspx sites. I successfully create sites in the localhost with VS2005 using the WinFX Service template. I have run the svcutil.exe to create the classes. I have make no modifications to the service, and it should simply echo back a string. But I get a error 405 Method Not Allowed. Is there a comprehensive "step-by-step" setup instruction set for Vista/IIS7? Larry -- SyncPac Corp, CIO |
