specify server security / identity settings

Hi consider a server side config file
what is the difference between this section
<service >
<endpoint ...>
<identity >
....
</identity>

and this section

<serviceBehaviors>
<behavior name="xx">
<serviceCredentials> ...

regarding configuring service identity ? they do look the same

thank in advance

Re: specify server security / identity settings

Hi!
Do you mean why <identity > element positioned under <endpoint> and not
<serviceBehaviors> ?

Re: specify server security / identity settings

yes .. for instance it seems you can specify the server certificate in both
places ..
I understand one is related to the endpoint (interface) and the other to the
class .. is this the difference ? if it's so, how would that turn usefull
and meaningfull ?
TIA

Re: specify server security / identity settings

identity is transport ( so endpoind ) feature , not behaviors of service
class ( those defined by <serviceBehaviors> features )
