| Guest | Re: specify server security / identity settings Hi! Do you mean why <identity > element positioned under <endpoint> and not <serviceBehaviors> ? | Guest | Re: specify server security / identity settings yes .. for instance it seems you can specify the server certificate in both places .. I understand one is related to the endpoint (interface) and the other to the class .. is this the difference ? if it's so, how would that turn usefull and meaningfull ? | Guest | Re: specify server security / identity settings identity is transport ( so endpoind ) feature , not behaviors of service class ( those defined by <serviceBehaviors> features ) Arkady "Enrico Sabbadin" <x> wrote in message news:ORbhpVu5GHA.696@TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... > yes .. for instance it seems you can specify the server certificate in > both > places .. > I understand one is related to the endpoint (interface) and the other to > the > class .. is this the difference ? if it's so, how would that turn usefull > and meaningfull ? > TIA > > "Arkady Frenkel" <arkadyf@hotmailxdotx.com> wrote in message > news:OgCFJat5GHA.1248@TK2MSFTNGP03.phx.gbl... >> Hi! >> Do you mean why <identity > element positioned under <endpoint> and not >> <serviceBehaviors> ? >> >> Arkady >> >> >> "Enrico Sabbadin" <x> wrote in message >> news:uuP6RMt5GHA.2208@TK2MSFTNGP04.phx.gbl... >>> Hi consider a server side config file >>> what is the difference between this section <service > >>> <endpoint ...> >>> <identity > >>> ... >>> </identity> >>> >>> and this section >>> <serviceBehaviors> >>> <behavior name="xx"> >>> <serviceCredentials> ... >>> >>> >>> regarding configuring service identity ? they do look the same >>> thank in advance >> >> > |
