Installation Error 1603 while installing WinFX Beta2

Hi there,

recently I downloaded the new Beta2 of the WinFX runtime components
(Webinstall and also redistibutable).
I previously ran WinFX Feb CTP on a W2K3 SP1 Server. Now I uninstalled the
old CTP (even tried uninstall tool).

Now, if I run the new setup routine it refuses to install and the error log
just says:
"MSI returned error code 1603".

Does this problem occur anywhere else?

Kind regards

Stefan

Yes. It is a known error code.

Good luck!
