net.tcp problem

I am trying to use net.tcp to get info from app A(service) to app B(client).
On the dev machine it works like a treat but once I move the serice to
another machine I get the following error.

{"You have tried to create a channel to a service that does not support .Net
Framing. "}
with an inner exception of
{"Expected record type 'PreambleAck', found 'Version'."}

Can anyone point me in the write direction.
