Patching host name in generated WSDL

How can I patch the hostname in generated WSDL such that all schema
imports use IP address instead of the host name ?

For example my WSDL schema looks like:

<xsd:schema targetNamespace="http://tempuri.org/Imports">
<xsd:import schemaLocation="http://<HOSTNAME>/service.svc?xsd=xsd0"
namespace="http://tempuri.org/"/>
<xsd:import schemaLocation="http://<HOSTNAME>/service.svc?xsd=xsd1"
namespace="http://schemas.microsoft.com/2003/10/Serialization/"/>
</xsd:schema>

How can the <HOSTNAME> instead be IP address ?

Re: Patching host name in generated WSDL

You can use windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file to set HOSTNAME to
needed IP

Re: Patching host name in generated WSDL

I tried that already but didn't help.

I changed the bindings in inetmgr and that did the trick. BTW, read my
blog entry at:

http://blogs.sun.com/arungupta/entry...eroperable_out

if you are interested in interoperability between WCF and Java EE.
