| | Custom credential validator not invoked Hi, I am trying to do custom user credential validation in a self-hosted WCF service. I need to use HTTPS and transport basic authentication mode. I tried to use UserNamePasswordValidationMode.Custom mode, but my own UserNamePasswordValidator doesn't get called, and I still have to provide a valid Windows credential. Anything else I need to do to make it work? Thanks, Jason |

| | RE: Custom credential validator not invoked It all depends on your client and service bindings. Make sure that both the Service and Client bindings aggree on using the Custom Authentication mode. What does your config file look like? "wuzupgee@gmail.com" wrote: > Hi, > I am trying to do custom user credential validation in a self-hosted > WCF service.
