| | WCF Custom Transports Hi I have a requirement to have WCF monitor a directory, when a file changes, read the file contents and pass the raw file contents onto the service for processing. The service has one method: void ProcessMethod(object message) { ... } I figure creating a custom transport might be the go, if the file read or file contents are invalid, then raise an excpetion logging it to the event log, there is no need to produce a response. I'm not sure how to go about implementing this, any ideas? Craig |

| | Re: WCF Custom Transports Try using a Stream instead of a generic object type. This is because it needs to be serialized.
