Connectivity issues

Hi,
We are still working on solving some of the issues caused by the hardware
failure Mohammed mentioned. Unfortunately, the system is taking longer than
usual to recover, but I assure you that our team is working very hard to
address the situation.

Our apologies for the inconvenience, I will post as soon as I have any
updates.

RE: Connectivity issues

As auser of Freedom2surf ISP in the UK, I am only farrrrrrrrrrr to aware of
companies that do not update their users. It took F2S almost 4 years to
actually have a network status page and that did not even have automatic
updates. It was done by the staff. (They are useless)
The fact that you do not alert ANY of the users of foldershare, to the
issues, shows that whoever is in charge :P may be hoping that a lot of
ignorant people will just think its their problem, not foldershare, which,
may reduce the email workload and also avoid casual surfers looking for a
solution, from giving foldershare a miss.. It is so easy to have a page
updater on the front foldershare page or login page, which tells EVERY user
what the problem is. I can do it in seconds on my website, using fireftp in
mozilla firefox, so why can foldershare not achieve this?

Anyway, what-ever.

bye

I am now going to use perhaps 1&1 uk or rackspace or many other Microsoft
exchange hosts to sync my company datafiles as foldershare has failed totally.

Therefore, I will be indirectly supporting microsoft, but that is the way it
is.

RE: Connectivity issues

I would like to clarify that the service was wonderful WHEN working.
As a free service, I cannot complain at all.

My PROBLEM, like most writing on this group, is NOT knowing when or why its
flaking out and that creates too much doubt in my mind to use the combination
of setup of syncing.net for outlook with foldershare.
I should probably have chosen exchange hosting in the first case.

regards,
andy
