| | Alternatives Does anyone have any good alternatives? BeInSynch seems to work poorly, by reports of other correspondents. FolderShare's future availability is indeterminate. ....rather like looking for an effective, predictable, easily deployable alternative to Windows... Also, regarding "Free," FolderShare is no more free than is Google: both these "Free" offerings support the core businesses of their manufacturer, and are development platforms for future revenue producing products and services. |

It was never really promoted as a Live service, no attention was given to it, and it clearly wasn't incorporated into any sort of core business. I really *want* FolderShare to become one of those "free but not really free" services you're talking about because it will mean that FolderShare is considered important in the eyes of a VP somewhere and will actually get the resources and development that it needs. :-) Jason Dunn www.digitalmediathoughts.com |

| | Re: Alternatives I would like to second the hope that more comes of it. For home and small scale users this cross domain technology is just what is needed. You have your data, safely replicated in multiple places easily.
