feature request

Since part of what I use this for is syncing with friends, I'd like some
kind of "alert" when new files are added.

Just to clarify: Are you asking for a list of new files or a general 'new
files' alert?

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. :-(

Probably just a general new files alert so I'd know something has been added
will suffice for me.
