| | Better Trash Needed The recent issues with the FolderShare deletes highlights some very troublesome issues with the FolderShare Trash. First, let me say that I am SO VERY THANKFUL for the trash. It's security to know that it's not actually deleted until I say it is deleted. That being said the current Trash leaves much to be desired. These features are needed. - Trash maintains folder structure and info on how and when files were deleted. Physically the files can stay in a flat folder for all I care, but we need some way to manage them and recover them to the proper place and have enough information to make a decision on them if needed. - Options for being alerted when files are being deleted and friendly history/log information with the alert to determine what triggered the delete and the subsequent actions of FolderShare. - Maybe options for trash compression or auto-purging for those who want that. And yes some of these ideas apply to Syncing as well. Just a few ideas. |

| | Re: Better Trash Needed I totally agree. I would love to see the third feature. I've found that the trash has overloaded my C: every once and awhile. An auto-purge feature would greatly reduce the headache's involved with finding the trash directory and manually removing everything I don't need. Thanks for supporting this product. --David "Anton Katz [MSFT]" wrote: Quote: > Great ideas, thanks a lot > -Anton > > > "Drewmister" <Drewmister@xxxxxx> wrote in message > news:4B9D6237-6180-4FFF-91F6-E2948EB1A94E@xxxxxx Quote: > > The recent issues with the FolderShare deletes highlights some very > > troublesome issues with the FolderShare Trash. > > > > First, let me say that I am SO VERY THANKFUL for the trash.
