| | Foldershare NOT syncing anymore!! Ever since that update of the www.foldershare.com, rapidly followed by that incredible funny deletion of files with "weird" characthers, my foldershare has not been synching... My firewall is as it has always been, on ALL my computers (its OFF, and OPEN) My firewall in my routers (D-Links) is also OPEN (DMZ or just open) The foldershare program connects, but says that all "Accept Connections" ports are blocked, while the "Initiate Connections" ports are open... This is like this on all my PC's!! I've also moved my LAPTOP's around to other people's home's to try them on DIFFERENT ISP's (internet service providers) and with the veryt same result, they connect but they dont SYNC... (i've seen numerous post on both google and here about this, but no solution) I've set up VPN between my computers (hamachi) but still with that extra ip on both pc's, still no syncing... So someone, please FIX this bug, as it is clearly on the SERVER side, and started slowly to appear, ever since that update early in december!!! Any idea's to get this to work, please email it to:: alexdata ::@:: gmail.com |

| | RE: Foldershare NOT syncing anymore!! I have had similar problems. I went ahead and just deleted all of my libraries and recreated them online...everything seems to be working now. |

| | RE: Foldershare NOT syncing anymore!! I got it working... First I teste MS Office Groove (a terrible bad fileshare program) (doesnt sync .exe .mov .most of what we want to sync) But as I was doing that, i saw a popup in office groove saying.. You cannot share more than 2GB or 5000files in a library (so i went on to change my folders into folders of MAX 2gb and MAX 5000files) Then I made several smaller libraries on www.folderhare.com and shared them and now it is syncing again... So is there a change in file-MB and file-# one can share, or is it just that one has to recreate all your Libraries inorder to get it to share??? Can any MS representant answer that question...?? Also would i LOVE if you MS people, after reading a "problem" like this here.. if you on the mainpage could make a Problem-->Solution notice!! Where you state; if you have "this problem" click here for a solution... if you have "that problem" click here for a solution... Would that be possible? It would save your users, AND YOU for so much time.... Anyway, keeping the file count below 5000 (or 10.000) and RE-ENABLE the share libraries (re-create them) seems to fix the problem.... (i would have saved, hmm, 8 days, if something like this was stated on the main page) and I would not have needed to test Office Groove to figure out things.... |

| | Re: Foldershare NOT syncing anymore!! Hi, We are trying to investigate this issue, so I might need some cooperation. Can you please email katz.anton@xxxxxx if you encounter this issue (not syncing)? I will then ask you to send me some log files.
