Service Down?

Hi,

I have begun to use FolderShare. I setup a sync between two computers and
the sync stopped in the middle of transferring files. I tried exiting
FolderShare and restarting the program, but now neither computer will connect
to the service. In the activity window the statuses are "Logging in" and
"Waiting for server".

Anybody else experiencing issues?

I noticed a bit of lag last night in terms of pushing around a set of 450
photos I added, but my machines haven't had any connectivity problems since
the big crash of '07. ;-)

RE: Service Down?

I have been experiencing problems as well. It has been working for me since
December, but a few days ago it stopped connecting. Any help would be
appreciated.

Re: Service Down?

Each of my computers connected yesterday at one time, but after they were
turned off and turned back on, they did not and still cannot connect. Every
so often they say waiting for server, but then still do not connect.

Before a week and a half ago I had no problems. I don't think anything has
changed either. Do you have any suggestions?

Re: Service Down?

Hey Paul,
Thank you for the files.
From our preliminary analysis, your FolderShare client is communicating with
our servers. Did you introduce any changes at all on the network level?
New firewall/Firewall changes?

Furthermore, did you try restarting your computer / FolderShare client?

Thanks,
Anton

Re: Service Down?

Anton,
I do not know of any changes that have been made to my network. I am behind
a proxy, so I do not have full control of my firewall, so something may have
changed. FolderShare did connect two days ago though on both of my computers
at different times. This seems as though a firewall is not blocking it if it
works intermittently.

I have restarted both of my computers and FolderShare clients.

Thanks for your help,
Paul
