| Guest | File level contention We just tested the following. 5K text file. A opens in one location, then B in the other. A deletes text down to 2K and saves and closes. A sees a 2K file. B simply saves and closes and sees a 5K file. A suddenly sees his changes disapear as the file goes back to 5K. In other words, if two people open the same file and work on it at the same time, how is that contention handled? |
