The Future of Foldershare?

First off, let me say that I love FolderShare, and this post isn't intended
to be any kind of troll.

That said, I am becoming increasingly concerned that there isn't really a
commitment on the part of Microsoft to this product. Browsing the
foldershare.com web site, there is little to reassure the visitor that this
is a service that is being actively nurtured, or more importantly, regarded
as truly part of Window Live. Just a couple examples:

About Us: Links to press release on the acquisition of FolderShare - from
2005.
Privacy Policy/User Agreement: Still references ByteTaxi, not Microsoft.
Screen Shots: Still show pre-acquisition branding.
Download: No mention of Vista, Intel based Mac Platforms, or OS X versions
greater than 10.3.8. (FolderShare is the ONLY application on my Mac that has
not been made available as a Universal Binary, standard practice for a couple
of years now).

Granted, many of these are truly minor issues, but the impression given to
the user is that FolderShare is a service that Microsoft acquired, did
minimal rebranding of, and then forgot about.

I guess what I'm hoping here is that someone from Microsoft can provide some
reassurance that there is a commitment to this service. A product/service
roadmap/timeline would be great, but even just an indication from a PM that
this service has not been abandoned would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Eric

I 100% understand why you'd say all this (you can smell the dust on the
FolderShare.com site), but if you look back a few months to when this
newsgroup was created, you'll see some messages from Microsoft team members
about the fact that they're working very hard on new and great things for
FolderShare. FolderShare was Han Solo'd into a brick of Carbonite for a long
time, but it's been thawed out and the team is working on new stuff...just a
while longer. :-)
