| | is this possible? I'd like to sync one folder on my desktop to both my laptop and a USB hard drive connected to my desktop. Is this possible, and if so, how do I set it up? Thanks, John |

My suggestion would be to use Foldershare for the laptop and desktop sync, then for the USB hard drive, use a tool like SyncBackSE: http://www.2brightsparks.com/syncbac...-features.html It's what I use to push Foldershare-synched files onto my Windows Home Server. | | RE: is this possible? Before I get too into it, let me double check that I understood you right... you've got a folder on your desktop that you want stored on a USB hard drive connected to your desktop, as well as synchronized to your laptop. If thats correct, Foldershare can do one half of this, but not the other. Set up foldershare to synchronize the folders between the desktop and the laptop. To synchronize that folder to the USB hard drive, download this program: http://www.2brightsparks.com/downloads.html#freeware Set up a synchronization profile within this program. The only problem with this method it's an automatic or manual synchronization; you run the synchronization yourself or you schedule times to sync the files. Hope this elps.
