| | There is nothing better than FolderShare To Anton or other MS folks. Just in case nobody has said it, there is no better piece of software than FolderShare. It truly is the best piece of software my company uses. Even if I had to pay for it, it would still be an awesome tool for us. I'm being forced to use SharePoint, which is slow. SP is good for project related stuff, but for sharing bulk data, FS is king. Every technology professional I know uses FS and is disappointed that it hasn't progressed since MS purchased it. The 2 biggest enhancements I'd like to see: 1. Monitor a network folder, specifically a NAS drive. 2. Sub-folder permissioning. I have to chop up my data to fit into FS master folder model. -Phil Salibello |

| | Re: There is nothing better than FolderShare I've complained in here but I also agree. This is the best at what it does. Not perfect but the best availalble. Now if we could get it to sync with sky drive and give us an option to pay for an unlimited file/mb then it would only be imperfect when it goes down for the momentary times it does. Good job and thanks "Philip Salibello" <Philip Salibello@xxxxxx> wrote in message news DF483F8-0967-4F1B-9817-2715EC00D1B7@xxxxxxQuote: > To Anton or other MS folks. It's a crying shame that MS has owned something for years that Google has no answer for, yet it's never been developed or brought to a wide market properly. I can only hope that in 2008 that changes! |

| | RE: There is nothing better than FolderShare My company has messed up the network by installing a new router; we have lost FolderShare. What a disaster. We only realised how much we used it and how much we depended on it when we lost it. We are now reduced to using memory sticks until they have fixed the router. I still have it on my home network. Thanks Anton keep up the good work. Mike "Philip Salibello" wrote: Quote: > To Anton or other MS folks. Just in case nobody has said it, there is no > better piece of software than FolderShare.
