| | Using FolderShare for "active" directories... I'd like to have FolderShare operating in the background on my work directories at the office and at home to keep both machines synced. The problem is that I am continually creating temporary files and deleting them automatically. I can see that Foldershare would be going crazy keeping everything in order minute by minute. How do you handle directories where the files are changing rapidly -i in real time? On demand? Perhaps turn off FolderShare while working, and turn it on again later? My home computer is usually shut down during the day, so that's not such a problem, but the office machine is on all the time. Derek |

| | Re: Using FolderShare for "active" directories... Unfortunately FolderShare really wasn't designed for this scenario. About the only thing I can suggest, and it's a kludge, would be to exit FolderShare when you start working, then start it back up again when you leave - perhaps using Windows Scheduler to fire it up at a certain time every day.
