exclude files in shared folders

Is there any way to exclude specific files in folders from being synced?

Thanks,
John

RE: exclude files in shared folders

I would also like to see this feature. Sometimes you have one file that has
a lock on it and so I have to kill the service completely. For instance, I
use it to sync my firefox profiles but the session data file is held open
when I have firefox running on both computers.

Re: exclude files in shared folders

Maybe in the next version they'll do it.

I used to do that, but then I found the Google Firefox Sync tool and it does
pretty much everything I need. Might want to give that a look.

It only syncs history, bookmarks, and cookies. I like being able to keep my
profiles in sync so that all my add-ins and extentions are updated.

Understood - but just like Outlook wasn't designed to be used on multiple
machines with a single PST file, Firefox doesn't seem to have been designed
to work easily with the scenario you're talking about. I'm not saying you
shouldn't try to make it work, but I gave up after a while because it was
too frustrating.
