International file/path name support

It looks like current FolderShare does not support international character in
file/path name in some cases.

Examples:

1) If you are running FolderShare on Japanese Windows, it does not sync
files that contains 0x5c (which usually appears in the second byte of a
double-byte Japanese character).

2) If you sync between Japanese Windows and Mac OS, all double-byte
characters in the file/path name are corrupted.

Is there any work-around for these issues?
