| Guest | Faster data retrieval First off, thanks for making a great product guys! It really helps simplify my life! Second, is there a way to retrieve small files faster from the peer computers? The reason I ask, is that I have a great number of tiny files (<100 kb) and a fair number of large files (>5mb). I want the library to converge as fast as possible, and it would make sense in my case to download all the files in order from small to large. Does anybody else have an opinion on this? |

| 1337 spammer | Re: Faster data retrieval Scheduled to be released to the public on 3-18-08, is SP1. Along with that release is rumors that file transfers between folders and drives will be faster. And for general speeding up of things in vista is this excellent tutorial: Speed Up the Performance of Vista I hope this helps. |
