New FolderShare Crashing. Rollback Possible?

Anyone getting anywhere with the issue of the new FolderShare crashing.

Any way to rollback to previous version without having to uninstall and
redoing libraries?

I've sent log files to MS of the problem without any reply.

If you are having problems too please post.

RE: New FolderShare Crashing. Rollback Possible?

I have not been able to get the new FolderShare to work without immediately
crashing on XP Home. I was able to find (thankfully) a 2.5 install online.
Google will help you find it too. I uninstalled new FS through Add/Remove
programs and when I reinstalled the old version, all the libraries were there
and no issues.

I'm using the new FS on a Vista machine and it works fine.

Thanks RadioWriter.

That's exactly what I was hoping to hear. I just didn't want to give it a
try if it was going to cause more problems. I had kept the install for 2.5.10
so it was reall easy to reinstall. Everything went really smoothly without
even a reboot (how often does that happen!)
