| | Foldershare feeling a bit Dopey? (Sending VIA internet instead of Just started using foldershare and for the most part its been great. Although I did have a situation for some reason it decided to Transfer some files Via the internet rather than the LAN... I noticed the Transfer speeds in foldershare were a little slow so I looked at the thoughput on my router And noticed I was uploading to the internet at close to my maximum upload speed (2Mbit/s) Closed Foldershare on The first Pc and the upload Stopped, Re-opened it and it started again. So Closed it on both PC's and restarted the client and now its Transfering the Files over the LAN which is what i'd expect. |

| | RE: Foldershare feeling a bit Dopey? (Sending VIA internet instead of Every now and again it will suddently decided that It want's to sync Via the Internet instead of the LAN. Both the Machines are on the same Wired Gigabit switch at the moment So I cannot understand why it does this. Don't think its the firewalls on the machine because they are quite happily syncing via the LAN one minute and then Deciding to go via the internet (i'm guessing some kind of Microsoft relay server) Luckly My ISP is unlimited usage but I can think of a few people that would get caught out if that was to happen to them and they didn't notice |
