Install issue

I am trying to install the latest/greatest version of FS, but it can't
uninstall version 2.5.1. I'm using Vista Ultimate as my OS. Can you give
me a manual uninstall procedure?

Thanks.

Re: Install issue

Hey,
did you try uninstalling the old client through "Programs and Features"?
If that fails there is another way that I briefly mentioned in a previous
post:

----->
This sounds like a corrupt installer issue. If that's the case, the
following workaround should do the trick:
**IMPORTANT: Read the information on the support link page BEFORE
downloading and using the utility.

1. Download Windows Installer CleanUp Utility from:
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;290301
2. Go to C:\Program Files\Windows Installer Clean Up and run the msicuu
cleanup application.
3. You will see a window with all your installed applications. Select
ByteTaxi FolderShare and click Remove.

This should uninstall the older version of FolderShare and enable you to
install the newer one. Unfortunately, you might need to remap all your
libraries on that device.

Hope this helps
