mac version too old - just downloaded

I'm trying to set up Foldershare on my friend's Mac. We just installed the
latest version from the site and when it tries to connect for the first time
he gets the message that the client version is too old. (He's never had
Foldershare installed before, so there is no old version to conflict with)

Re: mac version too old - just downloaded

Corey,
Thank you for your post. We are addressing this issue and it is scheduled to
be resolved early next week.
This problem only occurs when attempting to create a new account, logging in
as an existing user is not affected.

Thank you and sorry for any inconvenience.

Is there another way to create an account for now?

Re: mac version too old - just downloaded

This problem has been traced to Mac clients only, and the fix will go out
this week.
In the mean time, if you have a Windows client handy, you can use it to
create an account, and then use that account on your Mac machine.

Let me know if that works,
Anton
