Reading other post here i see i'm not the only one having trouble getting
foldershare to work. I also see the problems are almost identical. I can only surmise there's been a change to the program thats causing an issue with installation. I've gone through "Help Central" & there's nothing there regarding the issues being brough up with this new version. 1.. Pop up says "our version is to old, upgrade versions" 2.. We download & install the new version 3..Installation finishes, but Foldershare doesn't start. 4.. I try to manually start it, & I get "Windows Live Foldershare has stopped working. Windows is checking for a solution" Then it shuts I have tried everything i can think of (I'm not a newbie) to get it working, & nothing seems to start it (i.e. shut down firewall, antivirus, completely uninstalled, reinstalled, etc) I wish someone would tell the truth because i find it hard to believe after using foldershare for 3 years or more, that my computer & all these other peoples computers, just stopped working. I need to get it working or find something else to take its place. Does anyone have any idea's on what i might replace it with thats comparable. I'd appreciate any thoughts.. either on what i might try to get foldershare going, or a suggestion on another program? Thanks.. Mike |
