Premissions question what am I doing wrong?

Running build 14.0.1331.0415

I have on Machine A, signed into folder share with account A, and created a
Shared library, and invited another account B as a "Reader".

On Machine B, I sign in as account B, and create the foldershare, all syncs
look good, 14 files. On this machine I delete one of the files, and moments
later the file is also deleted from the source folder on Machine A.

This is not what I want to have happen, I want files from Machine A to be
synced with Machine B, and if anyone on Machine B deletes a file I do not
want to have that file delete on the source machine, I want a one way sync,
or what I would call an Echo. How do I do this?

thanks
Dhiren

The organization you described should have achieve the results you wanted
and FolderShare works that way for me. Maybe FolderShare account B has
greater rights than Reader or maybe Machine B is connecting using the email
address of FolderShare Account A or maybe this is a bug I have never seen
here. I suggest you check everything over again.

Re: Premissions question what am I doing wrong?

Thanks for the response. I went back and found that I had a connection
between the 2 machines from a prior version of Foldershare, I removed all the
connections and logged out on both machines and then logged back in
confirming that I had used different accounts on both machines, and then
re-created the shares, everything is working now as expected.
