I kind of like that feature actually, I'd prefer to always know which
computers are involved, even if they're not online. It's not like it takes
up a bunch of space anyway...well, unless you have 50 computers. ;-)

Re: Exciting news from the FolderShare team!

I have to say that I do NOT like the new website. In particular I do
not like that I no longer have an overview of my libraries with the
list of connected computers and files. Now to see that same
information, I have to click on each library individually.

I also don't like that this new view truncates your library names if
they are longer than a certain number of charachters. I name a number
of my libraries with the same name at the beginning. Now, since the
last letters of my libraries are cut off, I cannot tell which one is
which, and again have to drill down to each one to see which one it
is.

Finally, I ma hesitant to try the new client as there is no
information online as to what has changed and what may or may not work
as before. I had that problem when MS took over and they discontinued
support of Win 98 - at the time one of my libraries was on a Win 98
machine. Not knowing that Win 98 would no longer be supported (it was
NOT prominently displayed in the download box), I ended up with major
problems. After that experience, I am not sure I want to upgrade to
the new client until I know what is in store for me !
