| HELP NEEDED Hi, I am looking for someone who is familiar (expert even better) with FolderShare to help me come up to speed. I want to see if it can help support a globally distributed group who like to share stuff, and who like to ask me to help them with their computer problems. These users are not IT wonks - there are members of a religious order and are involved in various community based endeavours in many countries. I have FS set up on the one XP system to which I have access, i.e. my own. I have set up some FS folders but I need someone to try to access those folders (read and write) and someone who is willing to share stuff with me so that I can get a feel for both ends of the deal. The members of the order run into limitations that ISPs impose on size and number of email attachments - especially in remote areas where sat links are used. They also "stuff things up", that's when they ask me to help - tried use Remote Support, too hard I don't want to manage their systems as one might in a corporate setting. Other similar solutions cost money, hungry mouths and women in need of protection are the priority so the software budget is 0. You can email me at the mail address I publish here - no tricks just use it as is, send me a point of contact and we can then take the matter offline. Oh I want to do this like - now. Thanks in anticipation -- TUT __________________________________ |
