File/Directory Filters

I really appreciate FolderShare - especially now that I am able to get to
work on my work computer behind a proxy/firewall. The program has always
worked flawlessly for me and has become a critical part of my work flow.

One additional feature would be greatly appreciated: the ability to specify
file and directory filters on a particular folder share. I have a couple of
different cases where most of a folder needs to be identical on two
computers, but a couple of files in the folder are computer-specific. I also
have cases where syncing certain subfolders is not necessary and wastes
bandwidth a disk space.

more prominent in the documentation. I hunted all over the docs for this
information and finally found it using a direct Google search.

Great suggestion! We are definitely looking into filtering/excluding
specific files/folders because, as you mentioned, it would be a great
feature to help conserve both network usage and disk space. As for the help
topics we are in the process of documenting the top newsgroup issues as well
as making the newsgroup more prominent. Thanks for your continued interest
