Poor product mgmt decision

I have to say that dropping Windows 2000 completely for support, thus
rendering machines using this dead, and taking down personal networks of file
sharing is a questionable decision. I'd love to see if anyone at Foldershare
can justify that instead of just pasting the company line for what new min
requirements are.

I will start looking for a new vendor for everything, as this is the
attitude of MS - that every should be on Vista and it just doesn't make any
sense if you're not.

Re: Poor product mgmt decision

I totally agree. Have been using an old machine w/ W2000 to back up 3
other computers with Foldershare. Now that's not an option and I'm
unhappy! Additionally, the info indicated that the beta supported
W2000!!
I know large organizations that have not migrated from W2000 - with
the cost and complexities involved, I can understand that. Please let
me know when you find a new vendor!
Thanks
