| Guest | Handfull of feature requests Hi, below is a list of the feature requests I would like to see in foldershare. 1. Why are shortcuts ignored? I wanted to sync my start menu and quick launch, but it only synced folders. At least make this an option. 2. Speaking of my quick launch, how can I sync hidden folders? I'd like to sync this and my pidgin preferances so I can group/rename alliases once, my account preferances, and my logs. 3. Why can I not sync my desktop? 4. There should be a sync now setting simular to the index now option on windows desktop search. 5. I know this is an advanced option, but what about making an rsych "piece" that is sent and applied rather then the entire file? 6. Another advanced option, what about making this a sync AND backup solution by incorperating versions of files? Having each computer synced backs up the file in case of HD failure, but differant versions would make this a good backup solution as well. 7. I should be able to create a "synced profile" simular to a roaming profile, but exists locally and synced all the same folders as a roaming profile. 8. I have a NAS that I would like to sync to so that the two computer don't have to be on at the same time in order to update. |

Syncing them would get the files onto each individual computer, but the location of a shortcut on one computer may be different on the other computer. If you install programs to a non-default folder of the installation program on the two different computers, it would get confusing to know which is the correct one for the computer you are sitting at. Computer), in the menu go to "Tools," click "Folder Options," go to the "View" tab. You'll see a "Hidden files and folders" selection and under it are two options, "Do not show hidden files and folders" and "Show hidden files and folders." Select "Show hidden files and folders" then hit "OK"/"Apply". You should be able to see hidden files/folders in Foldershare. Weird, I know, but I asked the same question a bit ago. The rest of the questions are more for Foldershare's programmers side. Sorry. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
