Server did not respond

I have had a apparently "Permanent" login failure to the Foldershare
app after a power outage.

I had a power outtage while running Foldershare and once I booted back
up, foldershare would no-longer connect from the initial login screen;
I can login to the website without issue.

I have my laptop from work running XP SP3 over my home network
connecting without issue which eliminates the router as it's the same
as my desktop machine. I have uninstalled my firewall on my home
computer to test this and still the same issue not sure what else to
do; I have tried reinstalling several times.

I'm running Windows Vista 32bit with a couple gigs of ram and a dlink
wireless router.

RE: Server did not respond

Thank you for your post.

Can you check if FolderShare proxy setting is properly configured?

There is a FAQ on "Windows Live FolderShare beta client can't connect to the
server" at the help site which can get by either
.. Click FolderShare systray icon -> More -> Help
.. Go to FolderShare website -> Click "Help Central"

Thank you.

I replied to another post, but this is now fixed. I do not use a proxy
to connect right now but the issue turned out to be the system date.
It was defaulted to 2006 after my power outage (Cmos reset). Corrected
the date in Windows to 2008 and everything now connects as normal.
