| | Stuck connecting after waking laptop from sleep I'll start with my setup to help clarify things: Desktop on wired connection using XP SP3, always connected. Laptop on wireless (same router for both) using Vista Home Premium SP1... Sleep mode when not using. I've noticed something very odd in that every ~10 times I wake my laptop from sleeping, and thus reconnecting my wireless, Foldershare will get stuck 'Connecting'. I have no problem ever getting connected on the desktop. I've tried turning the firewalls on both pc's off (Windows firewall), forwarding necessary ports to/from both pc's through the router, etc. The simple solution to getting connected is unplugging the router to let it reset. So, I'm thinking the issue is related to the router rather than software. Has anyone else had a similar issue or a possible solution? Thanks. |
