New Clinent w/out changelog: Any benefit?

Microsoft is not providing a changelog for the new clinet so my question is:
does anyone find a benefit to the new client?

I'm wary of installing it especially since the old one works fine (so far)
and no change log is being provided. As well, a de-installation of the old
client is required ("the old version needs to be removed before the new one
is installed"), and I don't know if that requires resyncing libraries
(whenever I have had to resync a library in the past it caused massive
headaches).

There is a simple rule: If you don't have a problem then don't do an
update. This rule fits to nearly every software product from nearly
every company. ;-)
