Vista - illustrator files

foldershare is working fine but will not sink adobe illustrator files (ai)
any ideas

Yes, I noticed this, too! Illustrator files do not sync, .ai as well as .ait
(Illustrator template files). Also, it seems like a lot of my Indesign files
don't sync, but some, maybe 1/3 or less, do sync. That part confuses me
more, I can't figure out why some indesign files sync and others don't.
Every Illustrator file I've looked at does not sync, though.

Incidentally, I'm running foldershare across multiple osx machines and
sucesfully synced all types of files prior to the microsoft release.

forks" which I understand is a form of metadata which foldershare no longer
supports. As a result, files used and saved on a MAC using InDesign and
Photoshop will not sync to a PC or MAC whereas files created in these
programs on a PC will sync to another PC and MAC as these files will not have
"resource forks".

The workaround is to zip the file on the MAC. The zip file hids the
"resource forks".

I had this same problem and received this response from Microsoft. Adobe
and now iPhoto 08 have the same problem now as iPhoto 08 has switched to a
package format.
