| Guest | Installation trouble I have used Foldeshare on and off at work but have recently been unable to install or uninstall the software. I don't have ALL rights on my computer, but I have never before been unable to install whatever software I want. The grouble is I was unable to remove Foldershare, I went through add/remove, tried external uninstallers like RevoUninstall, used CCleaner, used MSinstall cleanup utility, searched for foldershare in the registry etc... Still, whenever I try to install foldershare I get the message saying i should remove the old version. I have tried installing from the C-drive and from network folders. Any ideas? |

| Guest | RE: Installation trouble Can't help, but I have the same problem. Also tried RevoUninstall, CCleaner, and the Windows Install Cleanup. Still tells me that I have to remove earlier versions. Someone help please??? "Øistein" wrote: Quote: > I have used Foldeshare on and off at work but have recently been unable to > install or uninstall the software. | Guest | RE: Installation trouble Try deleting this reg key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\FolderShare and then installing the latest version of FolderShare. Thanks, Christoph "INTPLibrarian" wrote: Quote: > Can't help, but I have the same problem. Also tried RevoUninstall, CCleaner, > and the Windows Install Cleanup. | Guest | RE: Installation trouble Incredible, it worked like a charm. I can't understand why I didn't find this reference when searching the registry for Foldershare residues. Let's hope it stays this way now! Thanks again, great job!
