    Installation trouble

I have used Foldeshare on and off at work but have recently been unable to
install or uninstall the software. I don't have ALL rights on my computer,
but I have never before been unable to install whatever software I want.
The grouble is I was unable to remove Foldershare, I went through
add/remove, tried external uninstallers like RevoUninstall, used CCleaner,
used MSinstall cleanup utility, searched for foldershare in the registry
    etc...
Still, whenever I try to install foldershare I get the message saying i
    should remove the old version.
I have tried installing from the C-drive and from network folders.
    Any ideas?

Can't help, but I have the same problem. Also tried RevoUninstall, CCleaner,
and the Windows Install Cleanup. Still tells me that I have to remove
    earlier versions.

    Someone help please???

Try deleting this reg key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\FolderShare
and then installing the latest version of FolderShare.

    Thanks,
    Christoph

Incredible, it worked like a charm. I can't understand why I didn't find this
reference when searching the registry for Foldershare residues. Let's hope it
stays this way now! Thanks again, great job!
