| Home Premium 32 bit | Deleted files keep returning? I've used Folder Share for a year & a half now, not knowing the details of how it works, but appreciating that it works great. Recently I hit the 10000 file limit. I can live with that; I just deleted about 1500 unnecessary files (on both my laptop and desktop), then reconnected them to Folder Share. Imagine my surprise when those deleted files reappeared, and my file count went over 10,000 again on both computers, and they were kicked out of the shared library again. Firstly, I don't understand how these files are recovered -- I didn't think Folder Share kept copies of the files; I assumed it just synchronized between different client computers and copied files from one to the other. I do have 2 other computers in the share group, but they are physically turned off and show up as offline in Folder Share. Does this make any sense? How do I truly delete these files from Folder Share? I guess I could just make a new library with the same directories if I have to, but I'd like to solve this problem and mystery if I could. Thanks for any input, Paul |

Then empty the Recycle Bins on each machine to make sure the files are totally gone. See if your problem goes away. |
